Earsham Street Café

Style and substance rarely go together, but many would say Earsham Street Café has hit the right formula. Part destination restaurant, part neighbourhood stop-off, we are open seven days a week for a late breakfast, through morning coffee, lunch and finishing with afternoon tea.

Many of our regulars want nothing more than a frothy latte with moreish biscuits or a steaming pot of Earl Grey and home-made scones. However, we are better known as an award-winning brasserie, our many regulars travel from far and wide to dine with us.

Offering such a diverse choice on our extensive a la carte menu, it's hard to pick a typical meal - ‘ladies who lunch’ might choose something as simple as salmon, ginger and chilli fishcake or sticky belly of pork with mango and spring onion salad, whilst those settling down to three courses might have seared king scallops with black pudding and celeriac puree, followed by best end of lamb, dauphinnoise potato, rosemary roasted butternut squash and curly kale and a sweet fix of warm apple tart tatin with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice-cream.

Alongside the food, we have a well stocked cellar with over 40 affordable yet exciting wines, local beers and unusual non-alcoholic drinks for the drivers and younger diners.

We hope the restaurant is the kind of place that soothes the soul, warming and comfortable but amongst smart stylish surroundings that suit the modern upbeat style of our food.

Combine the style of the interior and the quality of the cooking with a welcoming, happy, hard-working team, and that is what Earsham Street Café is all about.

If you haven’t discovered us already, we hope to see you soon.
